Symbiant was a tribal/atmospheric drum and bass project that I began in 1996 and for which I produced music until 2001. Initially inspired by the mid-90's drum and bass electronica of Photek, Squarepusher, Plug (Luke Vibert) and the Aphex Twin, the project soon developed its own unique ceremonial/tribal drum and bass sound, which usually incorporated complex weaves of programmed drum beats. I'm currently compiling all the Symbiant material into a forthcoming album release.
